GrafischeKaarten.nl: price and performance live in the model data
How we built GrafischeKaarten.nl: model pages with shop prices, measurements and a used market next to the new price.
Client work: a GPU comparison site at grafischekaarten.nl. Buyers get current shop prices next to measured performance, plus a used market next to the new price: not last quarter’s affiliate roundup.
Problem
Buying a graphics card is a race against stale blogs. Prices move daily, VRAM needs move per game, and “best GPU 2024” lingers in the results. Someone shopping wants to know what it costs in Dutch shops today and what it does in games: not a top ten that is meaningless after the next price drop. Used cards sit on classifieds, separate from the model.
Approach
Treat the card as data (brand, generation, memory, power), a page per model, prices from shop feeds, and used listings next to the new price. A finder that uses resolution, budget and games.
What we built
What this proves for you Comparison breaks when the content is an article. For products whose price changes every day, the page has to come from fields: model, measurement, lowest shop price. Otherwise you rewrite the same roundup every week. The used-stock stream belongs next to that new price, not on another site. Otherwise nobody is really comparing. Technology Laravel and Filament for catalogue, feeds, benchmarks and listings. React on the public site. Pages per brand, generation and model come from the data, not from hand-copied landings.
