Kelderdroog: wet basement, local page, short quote

How we built Kelderdroog around service-and-location pages and a short quote form, instead of a shop for damp-proofing products.

Client: Patrick Beukema

Someone with a wet basement searches for the problem plus the town. Kelderdroog got a page per service and city, and a quote form on that page: not a product catalogue pretending damp is a shop question.

Problem

A wet basement is not a shopping basket. Visitors type “waterproof basement” plus their town, and they want to know whether someone can come out. The trap is a nationwide brochure, or worse: a shop for damp-proofing products when the query is asking for a contractor. Too many fields before someone can say what is wrong, and the enquiry never arrives.

Approach

Service-by-location pages instead of one national blurb, a short quote form on the page they land on, and passing the enquiry through rather than a catalogue.

What we built

What this proves for you Local trades win or lose on the page someone lands on. If that page is about the company instead of the problem in that town, they are back in Google. This is not a shop case. It is the same structure as plumber or electrician: recognisable problem, place, short form. Only the damage types are different: damp, drainage, injection, renovation. Technology Laravel and Filament for services, towns and enquiries. React on the public site, with a quote form per service and per city-service page.
