LicentieVoordeel.nl: buy software without invented badges
How we built LicentieVoordeel.nl: live catalogue, buying guides, Stripe checkout and digital delivery on our own order page.
Client: Label111
LicentieVoordeel.nl is our software shop. You look up Windows, Office or antivirus, you read what separates Home from Pro, you pay us via Stripe, and the licence lands on your order page: not in a wholesaler’s checkout.
Problem
Software licences are either dumped as bare SKUs or inflated with partner logos and test scores the shop does not have. Home versus Pro, Office versus 365: that difference is rarely on the product page. After paying, the customer lands with a supplier they did not choose. Anyone buying for a company has to enter chamber-of-commerce details into a theme that was not built for it.
Approach
Catalogue from live stock, buying guides that explain edition differences without inventing scores, pay via Stripe at LicentieVoordeel, and licence details on our own order page. Account, cart and checkout share the same session.
What we built
What this proves for you A shop for digital goods fails in two places: the product page lies about what you are buying, or delivery happens in a different system from the one you paid in. Both cost support and trust. WordPress holds the catalogue and the orders. The shop the customer sees is ours. Prices and stock come from that catalogue; what is not in it, we do not fill in. Technology WordPress and WooCommerce for catalogue, orders and licence assignment. A React storefront in front. Stripe Checkout; the customer stays on LicentieVoordeel after payment too.
