LoodgieterNodig.com is a Dutch platform connecting people with a leak to a plumber nearby. We built it and we run it. It is proof of the service-by-location method: not a UK client job.
Problem
Someone with a leak does not search for “plumbing services”. They type the problem plus the town, and they click the first result that looks local and available. The decision takes under a minute. You have to be present across service-and-location combinations, and the page they land on has to be the right one immediately. The trap is well known: generate hundreds of pages that differ only by place name. They do not get indexed, or they drag the rest of the domain down with them.
Approach
Real content per place instead of find-and-replace, a short enquiry (job plus place), and a path for people who need someone now rather than a brochure.
What we built
What this proves for you Service-by-location is the most underused SEO structure there is. Everyone knows it works; almost nobody does it properly, because doing it properly means having something real to say on every single page. If you cover a service area spanning multiple towns: installation, repair, maintenance, training: this is the model you need. We did not read about it.
