How we built Veqora: listings with reviewed numbers, an NDA per listing and payment through escrow.
Veqora is a marketplace for websites, webshops, SaaS and domains. Numbers are reviewed by hand, a listing can sit behind an NDA, and payment runs through escrow.
Problem
Selling a website is not a classified ad. The buyer wants revenue and traffic before the domain moves. Without a check on those numbers, and without a moment where the money is held until the handover is right, it stays a promise from the seller.
Approach
Listings with category, revenue and asking price. Numbers reviewed by hand. An NDA per listing when the seller wants one. Escrow: the buyer pays, the seller transfers, then the payout follows. A valuation page as well, not an invented multiple on the homepage.
